Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Hiked High Pt on the Oak Grove trail.  Parked next to the fire station and the trail is well marked.  This was one of the harder hikes due to the steep trail for the first 2 miles.   Lots of fog during the morning with snow on the trail around 5000 ft.  On the top and on the way down the clouds would clear enough to get some views.  This is definitely a cool weather hike.  We were feeling the heat once the sun came out on the lower part of the trail.
