Hike to astronomical wonder

Started the hike before sunrise. Hiked up Chantry Flats and had a beautiful sunrise hit the waterfalls, trees, and rocks. The morning was little chilly but as soon as the sun came out the weather was perfect! Hit a few downed trees, but alternate routes had already been created for those parts. Getting to the top was the best feeling, the sun kissed me all over and the view of Baldy, Gogornio, and Jacinto were breathtaking! Saw the LA Skyline from the other side of the observatory, loved it so much I had to jump for joy. It was my first hike of 2020 and first peak of 2020, also first peak as a first time challenger 🙂 Overall, it was the perfect day.
