Long hike, but well worth it!  Clocked this in right at 15 miles. We started the hike around 9am and finished at 6pm, it took just under 9 hours total, including stopping for about an hour at the peak, and some short breaks throughout. The trail was overall easy to navigate, but there were a couple of areas where trees had come down or the trail was slightly washed out. Beautiful views of the mountain range, as well as LA, the ocean, and Catalina Island. Lots of cool variation in scenery throughout the hike, and we even saw a beautiful hawk gliding above us when we detoured onto the Helipad. The final mile of the hike we did by moonlight after an amazing sunset, which was a great ending to the hike!
