About 3 or 4 months ago, my schedule changed in which I now work Tuesday thru Saturday. So that means I am off on Sundays and Mondays. I really hate this schedule as NO ONE Hikes on Mondays. Well not really, some people do but very few people I know are hiking on Mondays and that is why I don't like it. I much rather Hike on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Well, I have to take advantage of the time I have so I went to hike San Jacinto the day after Mount Baldy and made sure to put my wallet in my pack as to not lose it again. The hike was good and very few people on the trail which makes it nice! I did run into some people through the trails and chatted with a few. I again started a little late because I overslept and it took another 30 minutes after I arrived to finally get a tram and get up to the start. Overall, I enjoy San Jacinto as it has a lot of tree cover and nice views. I only wish I could have found others to join me on Monday so I did not have to do this one alone. I did do some running / jogging back down and completed this whole hike in 4:32 – Four Hours and Thirty Two Minutes. Hope I can find a Monday Hiking Partner for my future Monday Hikes!
