Due to the holiday weekend between Christmas and New Year's we knew we needed to get started early on this hike. We got to the trail head super early and it was 37 degrees. I felt so lucky to be hiking this trail at sunrise as it was so incredibly beautiful. This hike was fairly easy until you reach the plateau and then begin to scramble. It was difficult to navigate in some places but we were able to make it to the top unscathed. This trail is was super busy and challenging towards to top. Going down was even more challenging. Glad to have bagged out second peak of the challenge.
