Started the day at 6:09 am and reached the summit by 11:10am. There were only 2 other cars in the lot on this Monday morning. Glad we started this hike early because we were able to beat most of the heat.  Took a little break at the saddle before taking on the last part of the ascent and stayed at the top for almost an hour. The bugs are pretty bad, especially in the canyon close to the water. 100% need bug spray if you want to have an enjoyable hike. The top is beautiful and it was a great day with minimal clouds… but be prepared for bees to surround you at the top. They wanted my PB&J haha. The trail is rocky but nothing too crazy. It was a strenuous hike, I would rate it as 7/10 in difficulty, as you definitely have to push yourself in some areas of this hike. Total time on trail was around 9hours and 40 min, and total mileage/elevation gain according to my Apple Watch was 14.37 miles /3,864 ft.
