It was very hot. Insect repellent was helpful against the mosquitos, but i was bit by some ass-hole breed of fly for no apparent reason. Aside from the heat and bugs, it was a great, challenging hike. Lots of great views. Oh also I saw a rattlesnake hanging out in a bush by the trail.
