Very cold, wet, and windy day.

Trail/campsites say closed but it's open. We got to the TH around 7:00 a.m. but there was not a guard at the entrance. He was there on the way out, however.

Cost is $10/Person. Also, there's no official parking lot, we just parked by the bathrooms.

Do note that the actual summit is *not* the lookout tower. There is a sign that will point you to the trail for the summit and you'll need to follow the ribbons to get there. You will then see a large rock with ropes coming down from it. If you continue to go around the rock, you'll see a ladder which makes it easier to get up to the summit. We found it easier to use the ropes to come down, however.
