Great hike to the highest point in San Diego county. The first couple miles are the steepest and most elevation gain. There is a slight scramble at the end to get to the top of the true summit. I used the ropes to get up and down. Much of the trail was extremely buggy, this trail convinced me that I need to buy a head net.
