Nice break from all the smokiness at home with a beautiful, clear day at Hot Springs Mountain.
When people say that the first two miles are hard, they don't lie! If it wasn't a jeep road, it probably wouldn't be so bad.
Bugs were pretty bad, but only at certain points. Highly recommend getting a net for your head, saved me big time!!
I did climb up the rocks, but was too scared…..maybe too short…to reach the true summit. We did check out the tower area before heading down though.
