After starting out on the wrong trail we figured out the correct trailhead. Look for a gate. Trail was clear for about 1.5 miles then we started to hit some snow patches. Not too bad at that point. At 3 miles the snow was thick which we didn’t expect. We would have done ourselves a favor if we had brought snow shoes or spikes. We sort of shallow postholed it to the top. Determined to get there. Beautiful views from the top! Great hike. $10 per person to get into the res. We were the only ones on the trail this day. I am sure in warmer months it is more populated. On to the next.
