This was a first time hike to Sitton Peak. A bit of a late start getting up this morning coupled with the hour plus drive didn’t put me on the trail until almost nine. The hike was pretty, easy to follow trail (keep to the right at all those intersections) and quite pleasant except for the final section to the peak. The last section was a scramble up dirt and rocks. Finally made it to the top. The only downside was the heat, most of the hike was in direct sunlight with heat radiating off the soil. A visit to the candy store at the end was a nice conclusion.
