This was one of those hikes when I didn’t research what the day would be since been here few times… not a good idea. The bugs were out 3/4 of the way and of course being not too prepared, my bugnet wasn’t in my backpack. This was also the day when the temperature reached 2 digits. My hiking buddies ran out of water and mine almost gone with almost a mile to go to thw TH. Good thing that some other hikers that didn’t push through to peak shared some of their water while we were cooling down by the small creek… this hike taught us a lesson to be more prepared on our next hike????
