How’d I get this mileage? -Mt. Wilson

Sierra Madre/Old Mount Wilson Trail

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs:

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Somehow ended the hike with 18.7 miles logged- I know I didn’t walk around the observatory that much!?!

Was a hot day and a holiday so trail was pretty empty, just a handful of hikers. Started at 5am and saw a doe and fawn just a few miles in. Flies were not so bad but watch for mosquitos.
