It was a perfect day to summit Humphreys the weather was nice, sky was clear.
The trail was in good condition. I was also with great company. I didn’t enjoy how over crowded it was though some people have poor trail etiquette.
It took about 9 hours or so clocked in 11.8 miles
Once I reached the saddle I knew it was game time. It was steep and that last mile in a half was definitely a challenge the false summits we’re testing my patience I was exhausted but eager so I kept going
I could feel the change in altitude, my lungs were on fire but it felt great. The air was thinner and the wind gusted through me it wasn’t too windy at the summit more like a nice breeze but it was cold.                                I had avocado hummus up there and enjoyed the beautiful views. I got to see the sunset amongst the trees and then played peek a boo with the stars at night  It was a rewarding experience and I feel happy and accomplished I look forward to doing it again soon ????
