Fun hike! Trail was in decent shape, with some icy and snowy areas. We did not use traction devices and didn't end up wishing that we had brought them. We did have trekking poles which were handy to have, but not 100% necessary. The wind was severe and temps were chilly. There were snow flurries coming down in between the summit and the saddle.
