I hiked Santiago Peak via Maple Springs. I got a late start so I had to hustle to summit and get back down before dark. The drive to the start of the hike as well as the views along the hike were beautiful. I encountered a lot of vehicles and motorcycles while hiking up and down Main Divide Road but nothing too bothersome. The weather was perfect and I was able to see a breathtaking sunset before driving out of Angeles National Forest. I will definitely complete this hike again.
