The first time we tried, kids and I made the mistake of taking the fire trail up to Mt. Lawlor. Don’t do it! Highly dangerous we found out the hard way, luckily no fall or accident. But not only did we have Spider-Man up the trail, once we got to the top, we didn’t see a way to rejoin the main trail, so on our butts down the world’s rockiest slide! We came back on 4/24 with family and friends and this time took main trail, which has great views but is narrow and exposed on side of peak. The fake summits and Star Trek otherworldly rocks at end of trail were cool.
