Parking gets filled up on the weekends pretty fast! So get there early! I hiked with ALMA/CAROLYN/EDITH.  The morning was nice and pleasant. Some running water at the beginning of the trail at Ice House Canyon. We hiked over lots of river rocks and the switchbacks were similar to Baden Powell up to the Saddle. We rested at the saddle and let Edith continue on to Ontario Peak and we kept on to Cucamonga. That climb felt long. I bumped into many people that were giving up and needed assistance. I met this woman names Stephanie who was a high school science teacher and handed her some snacks and electrolytes. With my help she made it to the top! It started to get steep and the last mile and a half was straight up and long. We got to the top and relaxed. Stephanie tagged along with Alma and I back down the mountain and Carolyn met a friend and hurried back down with her. Alma's strap to her day pack broke and she accidentally slipped and lots one of her trekking poles down the mountain.  Coming down felt so long. Crossing those river rocks felt like HELL. I wanted to cry but I didn't!! Where is my DAMN CAR?!? I was cursing the whole way from the saddle to the car! It took me 9 Hours to finish! BUT I FINISHED!! I do not think I will willingly hike this trail again.
