I sat on Sitton

Trail in good condition

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs were not too bad

Snow free

I spend two nights camping at the edge of Lake Elsinore and hiked San Mateo and Sitton Peak. Following instructions, I sat on Sitton. Cleveland National Forrest is variegated and makes for nice hiking with mostly gentle slopes (except that last bit of scramble for Sitton). The fog limited the visibility, but made hiking all that much more pleasant. Now I have to figure out how to Saddleback mountain despite the closures.
