I finished the original 6 peaks. It was a beautiful sunny day with great trail conditions. I saw what I think was a bobcat at Vivian Creek camp. It was on the trail when I rounded the curve. He loped down the trail a short distance then stopped to look back at me. I got to see the bright reflection in his eyes. I tried to slowly reach for my camera but he sauntered off the trail and into the woods before I could get a picture. I believe sitings of bobcats is pretty rare.
