Started off pretty early from Lizzie's trail inn, and hit snow pretty early on. We didn't find the snow to be much of an issue, but there were occasional logs on the trail or parts that were washed out. Nothing impassable though. On the way back down, it looked like someone had come out and repaired parts of the trail after we passed them on the way up. Overall it was beautiful hike, especially up near the firebreak where the snowy views are best. My watch ended up logging the total distance around 15.6 miles.
We didn't need to put on microspikes, but you may want to bring them, just in case.
