We were so happy to have finished off the 6 Peaks with the tallest and, relatively, one of the easiest climbs.  The weather was perfect and the trails were empty until later in the morning.  We started out early and yes, we missed the parking lot/trailhead just as we were warned but got to it to be the first ones parked at 7 am.  The ascent in the beginning wasn't too bad – big downed tree halfway up – watch your step and don't bonk your head!  The rest was a wide fire road with views for days – I think probably one of my favorites for views out of the six peaks.  Finished in about 5 hours – relaxed pace.  Loved it – loved the whole challenge!
