If anyone was to ask for my opinion, which I note they’re not, I’d say we were taking the long way round.

Trail in good condition

Road suitable for all vehicles

No bugs

Snow:

Snow free

Nice long hike, this one. Got to the trailhead at 6am for a little dark hiking. Nice and steady incline on fire road so saw a lot of 4x4s and motorcycles. 22.74 miles up and back. No signs at the top but got found the survey marker.
