In the Clouds on Black Butte

Trail in good condition

Road rough but passable

No bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Great hike with the Bend Hiking Meetup! The trail is snow-free until about the last quarter mile, where I donned microspikes. Perfect weather for hiking, although the views at the top were obscured by the clouds.

Headed back to hike this again next Saturday from the Lower Trailhead.
