It's true what they say, it's steep!  There are a lot of steeps! And the trail marker listing mileage is wrong. Even with all that this turned out to be my most favorite hike to date.  We saw a larger variety of wildflowers as well as more animals.  Besides the usual squirrels and chipmunks, my husband flushed out a covey of quail and we saw two does.  Sad to see the hills of San Bernadino burning.
