So going up to peak was no problem. There was more snow passed Wellmans Divide. I was in snowshoes and they were great for making it to peak. It was sunny and warm going up. Going down from peak was challenging. No trail in sight..it was covered over near peak. So we slid our way down..mostly on accident and I had to self arrest with my poles a few times..I thought I was going to break a limb or my neck cuz I was tumbling  down the mtn. I thought I was gonna die. Anyway we made it out safe in the dark and I’ll never attempt to peak in snow again…ever.
