I haven't hike Mt. Wilson in two years. While beautiful it's not really my favorite hike in the area. I suppose I could have replaced this hike with one of the other peaks allowed now but I decided to just do the OG peaks. I did this hike with my wife and we started around 9:00AM. Hike was going smoothly until about that 4 mile mark when everything goes to shit. We powered through that last 2.5-3 miles and spent some time exploring the top.

I've never done the loop so the Winter Creek Trail was something new to me. The way down went pretty smooth. It just felt like forever. I haven't done a hike this long in ages. We reached the car at about 5:00PM.

Overall it was a good hiking day that I'll probably be recovering from for at least another 2 days.
