Great hike! Loved the granite and pines. The weather was cool going up, but it got really hot on the way back down. I was in great shape for this hike and it felt like a walk in the park after baldy. Gave me the boost to hit up the next peaks!

    Nice!! It’s soooo beautiful. Bring at least 3L of water. A few snacks and read the hikingguy for advice. It’s not super technical. Go early to avoid the heat. I went with 3 people that were really slow, so this was a drag. But…still fun!!Theres a water fill area half way up if you bring a filter. Some say you can just drink straight from the spring as it cones out. I did on the way down. It was so cold and refreshing. Didn’t get sick.
    Otherwise, enjoy!
