This was the first time for me to go Up this trail since I've been down it on another hike. I like to start early so I had the trail all to myself for the most part. I came across others as I started down the trail. It gets really quiet out there. There was no wind and the skies were clear. There was no snow on the trail but there was ice falling from the trees onto the trail. It was easy to get across.
