So perhaps 93 degree isn’t the best condition for this hike. It was hot and long (we clocked 16 miles) and the bugs were out in full force. You can’t even stand still for a second without getting eaten alive. Strongly recommend deet, a bug net, and a reflective umbrella as there was some shade but also a whole lot of sun exposure. Also definitely start  early. There is a cafe up top with a bathroom and water refill to be had. Since it was so hot, I went through 3L ascending and another 2L descending. Unless you plan on filtering that sketchy looking stream somewhere in the middle, I’d plan on carrying enough to get to the top.
