Started around 0630H and hiked up the 808A trail.  Lots of flowers in the meadows including Columbine, Aster and Scarlet Paintbrush.  Light breeze on the summit, and comfortable temperatures for the whole hike.   Trail went from woods to meadow and back and forth several times, finishing with a high plateau meadow.  Views from Mt Bachelor to Mt Hood with smoky haze to the west.  Lovely hike–I would definitely do this one again.
