Made the Cuca-mongous mistake of not bringing snacks

Bugs were terrible

Snow free

Great weather. Lots of bugs in the canyon. They stuck to my face and neck when I walked through the swarms. Pine trees were extra pine smelly(that’s a good thing). Ran out of water so I risked getting giardia by raw dogging the stream water. Trail was in excellent condition. Didn’t eat for the 7 hours I hiked because I didn’t bring snacks, I got light headed at the top. Please bring snacks on your hikes.
