I don’t always smile but when I do, I beam so hard that my eyes close????????‍♀️

I don’t always post a pic of a summit sign because there was no placard in sight????

Rumor has it that the rangers had taken the old sign and will be replacing it with a new one.

The temperatures from Marion Mountain Trailhead up to San Jacinto Summit were absolutely perfect 50°s before the sun rose, 70°s in the afternoon.

The leaves haven’t turned yet in the San Jacinto Wilderness but the forest floor is lovely shades of vivid oranges and yellows.

Of note, about halfway up, I saw and heard a babbling brook that could be used as a water source.

Still a bit of smoke in the atmosphere but a beautiful hike, nonetheless.

Happy trails once more!
