Everything I read about Mummy was accurate. Easy hike for the first 3 miles following the North route trail for Mt Charleston. Then you reach a point where you leave the trail and climb up the side of the mountain through scree to get to the top of Mummy. Right when we got to the summit snow started falling so we quickly made our descent. We slid down the scree chute which made our descent quicker but tore up our pants! Then the clouds rolled away and we ended with beautiful sunshine.
This was a hike I’ll never forget which is good because I doubt I’ll ever do it again!
