Hiked this from chantryflats 9 yrs ago & said never again! Grueling hike?. I really liked this trail over chantry with beautiful views & cool weather. I felt strong but little bit afraid, this was my longest solo hike so far but I wasn’t putting it off because I had no one to go with. I’m getting more confident each time. I trudged on up & enjoyed the peak on my own. When solo there’s no one to worry about & im enjoying that more & more. I’m truely hiking my own hike! I was exhausted last 2 miles but so proud I started off with what is one of hardest of this challenge.
