Amazing trail, loved seeing the PCTers. The morning was cold and cloudy so I waited until around 10:30am to start which was great because it cleared up and was a sunny,  yet cool trek up to the peak. Got windy at the top as expected but wow, this might be my new favorite peak/view in Southern California. The surrounding mountains were peaking through a thick layer of clouds and surreal, quick moving fog. It was a stunning sight, so I stayed at the top and snacked / relaxed for quite a while before heading back – the way back also had impeccable views. Besides about 10min of sliding down a snow bank off trail because the trail was covered, the snow wasn’t too bad.
