My GF and I noticed this trail to Mount BP which would allow us to grab Mount Throop and Mount Barnham Peaks while grabbing some geocaches on the way. We headed up grabbing caches and Mount Throop Peak first. We continued along the trail grabbing caches, watching gliders swooping down and meeting a few other hikers along the way. Just before the peak at Mount Baden-Power we were circled by a search and rescue helicopter for a few minutes. I was scared to wave in case they mistook it as a call for help. At the summit I was able to take some pictures at the Baden-Powell monument with my neckerchief from my Boy Scout days in Elizabeth, NJ. What a long way to come! After taking pictures at the peak we lunched at the peak with 2 other groups of 2. On the way back down we reached Mount Barnham Peak. I started cramping badly on the way back down so it took longer than expected to reach the car but I was very relieved to make it before dark.
