We opted for the lesser traveled route from Dawson Saddle instead of going up 40 switchbacks. We did follow the recommendation of some of the comments on AllTrails reviews, and started at a trailhead that is just east of the one shown on the trail map. We only saw 3 other hikers on our way up. The incline was very gradual and the hike was very enjoyable. 11 peaks down, 1 to go!!!
