Umpteenth time to this peak—Mt. Baden Powell. One of my favorites. It’s quite a beautiful trail and named after Lord Baden Powell, founder of Boy Scouts. So you will see a lot of them on this Mtn, paying homage to their founder. It’s considered one of the “easier” peaks in San Gabriel Mtns, but it’s still a thigh-burner, sucking oxygen all the way up to the peak, and took us 4 hours r/t. It’s a good one for Mt. Whitney training if you want a quick day of mountain climbing. #hikebeyondthehills
