ROAD:

Road suitable for all vehicles

No bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

Started early to beat the crowds.  My 1st time to go up thru Baldy Bowl for the ascent.  We normally take the Devils Backbone route.  The view was spectacular!   Weather was perfect up until closer to summit when the winds picked up!

Descent thru Baldy Bowl is a different story, there are some parts that are gnarly and not for the faint of heart.

If you want to cut the mileage, this is the route to take –  under 10 miles.  Short but not so easy way to knock this off your list.
