Hike Log

Mount Greylock Aka: Grayskylock

Trailhead:

Cheshire Trail

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Minor obstacles posing few problems

ROAD:

Snow and ice on road

Bugs:

No bugs

Snow:

Avalanche danger

Fresh snow and ice storm the two days before the hike…yet the trail was frozen mostly solid due to the rain. Single digit temperatures and heavy winds made for -20’s wind chills at the summit for Maureen and I so we took pictures and headed back down. Great hike, summit was socked in so no views for us…still the monument at the summit was made us forget about no distant views.
