Decided to tackle Mount Saint Helena today with a good friend. The mountain is about an hour from our hometown of Sonoma where he still lives.

We began around 9AM and it was a good hike. There isn't much shade, especially along the fire road, but the breeze made the heat less intense.

He and I enjoyed a snack when we reached the top.

I highly suggest that hikers have a good size hydration pack to ensure there is enough water for the hike.

Looking forward to the next three hikes that will complete my challenge.
