Compared to our first two hikes, Diablo & Sizer, this was an easy, meditative walk.
Thanks to those who warned us to note where we entered the fire road, so we could find the trail to the parking lot on the return. Needed that.
Cold and windy at the top, otherwise a steady climb with beautiful views of Calistoga, St. Helena and further southwest and of snow caps on the Sierras to the northeast.
FYI: No man-made toilet facilities. Find a tree before you get to the area that burned recently.
