2020 Challenge was not fulfilled due to Fire and I have been contemplating on hiking this beastly beast since then.

Fast-forward to 4/24/2021 what a dream come true, literally, he visited me in my dream!! ???? ????. hear me out, maybe because due to extensive research I have been doing about logistics in hiking San J scheduled 4/25.  My dream resulted a successful El Cajon Summit on 4/24 (see previous post).  After el cajon, we stayed at Fern Valley got our permit from the ranger station and rested.

4/25 – woke up tired from previous hike but my husband and I pushed through and started our hike at 7:17am per GPS.

We started at Devil’s Slide Trail.  Our first two miles was rough but the views were amazing.  We loved this hike so much.  When we got to PCT, we thought this hike gave us the vibes of Baden  Powell and Glacier Point Hike.

At 9000ft, started putting on traction to hike on slushy snow.  The elevation sickness started kicking in as well nonetheless we made it to the summit at 3:00pm.
