Amidst the all the craziness of daily life, felt good to get back out in the mountains again.  Blessed to get my first summit of Mount St. Helens via the winter (Worm Flows Route) with some of my favorite people…and got to ski down for my first volcano skied!

Skinned/Climbed up 5,700 feet of vertical gain in 7 hours beginning at 4am (it was icy in the morning and ended up switching from skinning up to climbing the rest of the way about 3 hours in)

Skied down in 50 minutes after hitting the summit! (now have 2 summit's of Rainier – DC route, 1 summit of Adams and 1 summit of St Helens for my “RAS”…looking forward to getting the “B” – Baker and “H” – Hood to complete “BRASH”)
