Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

We had a group of nine ladies.  We started at 6:15am from Sierra Madre. It was foggy all day. It snowed, hailed, rained and was 34’ at the top. It took us 11hours total and 17 miles round trip.  Started in the dark and finished in the dark. Big hiking day indeed! Definitely earned our Wilson credits.:)  there was also an avalanche area on the hike we had to cross boulders and five galled trees we had to hike under and over.
