Beautiful day. Beautiful hike. Mostly under cover of trees and mostly cloudy, until we got above the clouds, last two miles.
Several areas were quite gravelly and/or sandy… slippery/slide-y. One area in particular was quite degraded and very much prone to sliding down to short switchback trail below.
Bugs were not bothersome, all day, until it came to dusk time and around the water area… mosquitos. But only then and there.
