Started this hike before sunrise. Had about an hour and a half of trail before daylight. The trail was overcast until you pass the clouds. Trail was steep and relentless with minimal drops. Trail was well maintained.

Had to make multiple stops since I overestimated my ability to hike this peak. But was doable. My favorite part of the trail was probably the last 1.5 miles to the top. Protection from the sun, great breeze.

The summit was nice. Windy. I felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment since the las time I was up here was 20 years ago.

We filled up our water and wobbled back down. The way was not as intense. The knees weren't too battered by the end. Minimal stops heading down.

This is a great hike. I wasn't prepared to appreciate being up there so much. Will definitely do it again.
