This day started out quite peculiar. The initial plan was to take our new hiking friend David across the Three T’s in the Baldy area. An early morning brush fire and temporary road closure changed those plans and we headed to Sierra Madre to hike Mount Wilson. The trail is easy to follow, but the Dog Poodle Brush near the top was not fun to have to avoid. Coming back down the trail, it warmed up and we were happy to almost be done. This is one hike best to do when it’s cool.
